Kayaks For Rent In Stillwater - Now Available
Our Automated System is NOT Yet Installed - You Can Still Reserve and Rent A Kayak
Give us a call (518 - 541-2063) or email (kathleen.stell@gmail.com) to reserve a time slot and one or up to 8 kayaks for your use. Rate is $30 per kayak for a 3-hour time slot. Time slots are 7 am to 9:50 am, 10 am to 1:50 pm. 2 pm to 4:50 pm, and 5pm to 7:50 pm. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards in payment. Kayaks are located just behind the Storybook Cottage Bed & Breakfast, and we have ample parking available. Come by and check us out. It is a short walk across the road to a great launch site next to the Blockhouse.
The Hudson River is "still" in Stillwater
The river here in Stillwater, is "still." Current is slow and the river is shallow - knee deep to waist deep most of the summer. Stillwater is located below the lock and dam and the river is slow and shallow here. Great for kayaking. You can also go around the islands just across from our launch point and explore the Hoosic River.

Everything you need for a great day of paddling on the Hudson will be located in your locker. You can lock up your valuables while you are out on the water tool.
