We were planning on retiring and downsizing when we saw this wonderful storybook cottage in the village of Stillwater. We failed downsizing and embarked on a new adventure and business venture - opening our cottage as a Bed and Breakfast to visitors to Saratoga County, the Saratoga Springs Racetrack, SPAC, and the Hudson River Valley.
All of our rooms are beautifully appointed with luxury linens and modern amenities including private baths with walk in showers, towel warmers, luxury bath products, high speed internet and, of course, made to order breakfast with gluten free and vegan options always available.
The Hudson River is across the street from our Storybook Cottage. There is so much to see and do in the Stillwater area. We are a short, scenic drive from Saratoga Springs and its world-famous racetrack. The National Historical Park and site of the Battle of Saratoga, turning point in the Revolutionary war, is just 4 miles north of us.
